24 Manayar – History

The charter says that when Goddess Meenakshi Sundaresar and God Alakar descend on the Madurai Vaigai River at the Chitra Powernami day in Madurai, the priests are required to submit to 24 Manai dignitaries in a row with great Anumandha flag, Award, garland, shawl, Kattari sandal tambulam, gold coins etc.

‘Art and Culture Programme’

All Kerala 24 Mana Telugu Chetty Sangham (Regd) is working with a service mindset for the welfare and development of the people of our community.  It intends to implement programs such as creating art, culture, and artists among our children and raising awareness for them.

On Wednesday the 26th January 2022 on Republic Day of India at 11.00 am a variety of art and cultural events involving children between the ages of 02 and 17 were featured through the “Google Virtual Meeting”. Parents encouraged their children. We have given the name of the children who attended, the place, the art they shown etc.

The event was presided over by Mr.Passport  K. Krishnamoorthy, Patron and Mr. R. Radhakrishnan, Advisor,   of AK24MTCS. Mr. P. Krishnamani, General Secretary Mr. P. Sathyan, Joint Secretary,   Mr. S. Srinivasan,Treasurer, members and well-wishers were present.

Certificates were awarded to the children who have participated in the event. The aim of the event was to create the best artists among our community.  Thanks for all.
