Vaniyamkulam Family Sangamam (23.05.2022)

All Kerala 24 Mana Telugu Chetty Sangham, Palakkad District, Vaniyamkulam Unit conducted Family Sangamam Event was held on Monday 23.05.2022 at 4.00 pm at Unit President residence.
Family members of the unit were celebrated the function grand success.
The event started with Prayer of God. Mr. Manikandan Unit President welcomed all. Silent tributes were paid to those who had expired in the community. Mr Dharmaraj was presided the event.
President Manikandaprasad and others informed that we are belong to minority community and majority of the people lying below the poverty line in Kerala. Therefore, we are giving all support to the State Committee for smooth functioning of welfare of our community people all over Kerala. Hence. All are requested to unite together for uplift of the community people.
Mr. Suresh, Unit Secretery and Exeutive Members are also present. Mr Manoj, Trasurer gave the vote of thanks.
Dinner was arranged for everyone and after that the events ended.

Family Sangamam & General Body Meeting @ Thathamangalam, Palakkad

All Kerala 24 Mana Telugu Chetty Sangham, Thathamangalam Unit conducted Family Sangamam Event and General Body Meeting was held on Sunday 10.04.2022 from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm at Sundara Madam, Thathamangalam. Numerous men and women were participated and made the function grand success.
The event started with Prayer of God. Mr. K. Sabarigrish, Member of the Executive Committee of the Association welcomed all. Silent tributes were paid to those who had expired in the community.
Mr. K. Krishnamoorthy, Patron of All Kerala 24 Mana Telugu Chetty Sangham, lighted the torch and inaugurated the event. He then spoke about the activities and achievements of the Association till date from the year 1996. So our community people are availing the benefits of reservation from the Central and State Governments.
Our Association efforts 24 Manai Telugu Chetty, Sadhu Chetty were added with Telugu Chetty in the list of Central Other Backward Classes (OBC). So that including our community people have got eligiblity for 27% reservation right for admission in central educational institutions and Central Government Services.
Our community name, 24 Mana Telugu Chetty was added with Telugu Chetty,24 Mana Chetty and Sadhu Chetty in the list of Other Backward Classes (OBC) in Kerala State. Hence our community people are able to get reservation for education and employment.
He also added that our community people are also availing financial concessions in Plus Two, Professional Colleges and Arts Colleges and higher education as in Other Eligible Communities (OEC .
At present, the Government of Kerala has allowed total reservation of only 3% for admission in educational institutions and employment for 81 Other Backward Hindu (OBH) backward Communities including our community in O.B.C. Our Association requested the Government of Kerala to increase it to 10%. Now, Our Association affiliated with MBCF (Most Backward Communities Federation).
Led MBCF, Dharna and Thiruvananthapuram Secretariat march on 31st March 2022 for demanding the existing reservation should be increased from 3 percentage to 10 percentage as earlier for admission in the educational institutions and employment in Government Services for 81 Other Backward Hindus (OBH) minority communities including 24 Manai Telugu Chetty, Telugu Chetty, 24 Manai Chetty and Sadhu Chetty of Other Backward Classes (O.B.C.).
Our community people all over Kerala have participated enthusiastically in the Thiruvananthapuram Secretariat March Dharna led by MBCF on 31.03.2022. He said that this was the first time in the history of Kerala that our community people took part in such struggles for just demands.

Elders in our community were honoured by wearing gold shawl. Thereafter K. Krishnamoorthy (Patron), P. Subramanian (Advisor), B. Babu (President), A. Rajamanikkam (Secretary), K. Sabarigrish (Vice President), P. Rajasekaran (Joint Secretary), R. Ramakrishnan (Treasurer), N. Narendran (Auditor) and 11 Executive Members were elected unanimously as new office bearers and executive of Association Thathamangalam Unit for the next two years.
Executive Committee Members S. Dinesh, P. Subramanian, P. Chandrasekaran, M. Murugan Chettyar and others greeted the gathering. T.V.Rajendran gave the vote of thanks.
Lunch was arranged for everyone and the events ended after lunch.

Led of Most Backward Communities Federation (MBCF), Dharna and Thiruvananthapuram Secretariat march on 31st March 2022 for demanding the existing reservation should be increased from 3 percentage to 10 percentage as earlier for admission in the educational institutions and employment in Government Services for 81 Other Backward Hindus (OBH) minority communities including 24 Manai Telugu Chetty, Telugu Chetty, 24 Manai Chetty and Sadhu Chetty of Other Backward Classes (O.B.C.).
81 OBH applicants who get good marks in the examination conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) should be included in the merit and general ranking list. The average ranking applicants in 81 OBH should be included in the reservation list.
41 leading Christian Nadar communities were included in the list of 81 OBH Communities issued order recently by the government should be revoked.
All Kerala 24 Mana Telugu Chetty Sangham, R. Radhakrishnan, State Adviser addressed the protest and the procession. Executives and team members of our association from various districts attended. P.Sathyan Kalamasseri Joint Secretary of State, Kochi Kumar President Ernakulam District, Murugan Ernakulam, G. Venkatesh President, S. Shanmughan Secretary, M. Swayamprakash Treasurer, M Venkatachalam, M. Saravanan, G. Anilkumar,Selvan and Somasundaram of Kollam District, Karamana Jayaprakash, Suresh, Babu and others from Thiruvananthapuram District were took part in the struggle.
It is noteworthy that our community people have taken part in such struggles is the first time in the history of Kerala.

Sri Prabhu Natarajan – Icon AK24MTCS

Sri Prabhu Natarajan, a native of Olavakkode, Palakkad, is working in an old age home

in U.K. He was honoured with Best Volunteer Award“in the UK for his sincere philanthropic work in recognition of his service to the poor people there by the social organisation.  In addition, the Prime Minister of United Kingdom hosted a dinner and honoured him. On Friday 28/05/2021 on behalf of our Association, the pride of our country and our community, winner of Best Volunteer Award in U.K. Sri Prabhu Natarajan, gave a welcome and congratulated him through a google meet.

Later, His Excellency Sri Arif Mohammad Khan, Governor of Kerala invited Prabhu’s  mother to Kerala Raj Bhavan,Thiruvananthapuram and honoured.

AK24MTCS is proudly introduce the extra ordinary young man Prabhu Natarajan for obtaining various awards and appreciations within a short period reached United Kingdom.  On behalf of our Association, we are very grateful to him, spouse, son and his mother.
