
All Kerala 24 Mana Telugu Chetty Sangham Kollam-Pathanamthitta District Committee conducted Family get together, Onam Festival, felicitation of students who passed higher education, felicitation of winners of public examination like SSLC, Plus 2, graduation, distribution of Onakodi (new dress) to senior citizens, and art and cultural programs etc was held on Sunday, the August 14, 2022 at 10.00 am at Late Shri P.Natarajan Chettiar Nagar,Kollam ( Lions Club) in a grand manner.
At 10.00 am, State Advisor and District Patron Mr. R. Radhakrishnan hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of Independence Day. The program started with the God prayer of Kumari VK Parvathi. Condolence was expressed to Deivathiru P. Natarajan Chettiar and others. District Secretary Mr. S. Shanmugan welcomed everyone. District President Mr. G. Venkatesan presided. The program was inaugurated by the State Patron Mr. K. Krishnamoorthy by lighting the lamp. Sanatana Dharmavedi District President Mr.S.Varijakshan gave a speech on the topic of Family and Relationships.
Patron Mr.K.Krishnamoorthy was honored with “Sri Kamatshi Amman Award 2022” for his 35 years of social welfare service at state level. He explained about the achievements of the association so far.
Former Secretary Mr. Suresh, Present President Mr. Haridas, Secretary, Mr. S. Ashokumar, Treasurer Mr. Sarath Selvan of Shri Kamakshi Amman Temple,Thiruvananthapuram and also others were honored by wearing golden shawls.
Mr. P. Sivaraj Kajil State President, Mr. P. Krishnamani General Secretary, Executive Committee Member Manikanda Prakash and State Advisor Mr. R. Radhakrishnan explained the need of the association.
Shri Kamatshi Amman Temple Secretary Mr. S. Ashok Kumar spoken about the glory of the temple and requested the community people to extend their support and cooperation.
After the Onam feast, distribution of Onakodi (new dress) to the Senior Citizen Mr.Pandalam Maniannan and others were honoured.
Highly educated Mr. Nitin Nagendran (BCom,LLB) and Mr. R. Rahul Radhakrishnan BA MA (Kerala Teacher Eligibility Rank Holder) were felicitated. The students who passed the SSLC, Plus 2, and Degree Public Examinations were also felicitated and those who participated in the art programs were given incentive prizes.
Nearly 200 members were participated. Mrs. Manju Karthik District Joint Secretary thanked State Committee members, , district committee office bearers, executive committee members , all important personalities and community members who have participated in the program. The program was concluded with the National Anthem at 5.00 pm.
